Collection: Serum/Essence

Korean serums and essences are the treatment step of the routine, applied after toner. An essence is usually lighter and more watery, a serum more concentrated, and both are meant to be layered before your moisturizer. Our nine come from Anua, COSRX, Numbuzin, Beauty of Joseon, Dr.Althea, celimax, Haruharu wonder and VT Cosmetics, shipped from Switzerland with prices in CHF.

Which serum or essence should I choose?

How to layer a serum or essence

  • Order: cleanser, toner, essence, serum, moisturizer, and sunscreen in the morning.
  • Add one new active at a time and give your skin a few days before adding another.
  • Keep retinal, the Reedle Shot and strong acids for different evenings. In the morning, always finish with sunscreen.

FAQ

An essence is typically a light, hydrating layer. A serum is usually more concentrated around one or several ingredients. You can use both, essence first.

Where should I start?

Can I use several serums in one routine?
Yes, from thinnest to thickest texture. Start with one or two and watch how your skin feels.
