Korean cleansers are built around double cleansing: a cleansing oil first to lift makeup, sunscreen and sebum, then a gentle foam to rinse away the rest. Our four cleansers come from Anua and SKIN1004, shipped from Switzerland with prices in CHF.

Which cleanser should I choose?

• Cleansing oils (first cleanse): Anua Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil (200 ml), with heartleaf extract, or SKIN1004 Centella Light Cleansing Oil (200 ml), with Centella Asiatica and six botanical oils.
• Foam cleansers (second cleanse): Anua Heartleaf Quercetinol Pore Deep Cleansing Foam (150 ml), or SKIN1004 Centella Ampoule Foam (125 ml), a pH-balanced foam with 33% Centella Asiatica extract.
• Ready-made double cleanse: the Pore-fectionist set pairs Anua's cleansing oil and foam.

How to double cleanse

• Evening: massage the oil onto dry skin, add a little water to emulsify, then rinse.
• Follow with the foam on damp skin, then rinse with lukewarm water.
• Morning: a single foam cleanse is enough for most skin types, or just water.
• Then go on with a toner.

FAQ

Do I need to double cleanse every day?
It is most useful on evenings when you have worn sunscreen or makeup. On other days a single gentle cleanse can be enough.

Will an oil cleanser make my skin oily?
Cleansing oils are made to emulsify with water and rinse off. Follow with the foam to leave no residue.

Why remove sunscreen with an oil?
Sunscreen is designed to stay on all day, which is why an oil cleanser is useful in the evening. See our Korean sunscreens.
